Honeymoon & Couples
Caldera sunsets, quiet coves and islands built for two.
Greece is at its most romantic when you slow it down: one or two islands, long dinners by the water, and afternoons with nothing scheduled. These are the places and experiences we suggest to couples who want beauty without the crowds.
Who this is perfect for
- Honeymooners with 7–12 days and no wish to rush
- Couples celebrating an anniversary or a milestone
- Travellers who value views, quiet and good food over nightlife
Recommended destinations

Santorini
The classic caldera view — stay in Imerovigli or Firostefani for the same sunset with far fewer people than Oia.

Crete
Pair a few romantic nights in Chania's Venetian harbour with the wild south coast.

Mykonos
Beautiful beyond the party reputation — base yourself inland or in Ano Mera for calm evenings.
Experiences worth planning around
A private sunset sail
A small-group or private catamaran cruise is the single best evening you can book in the Cyclades.
Dinner with a view, twice
Book one clifftop restaurant and one simple seaside taverna — the second is usually the better memory.
A quiet-island day trip
Antiparos, Delos or Aegina make a lovely change of pace from a busier base.
Where to stay
- Choose a small, family-run boutique hotel or a private house over a large resort — service is warmer and evenings are quieter.
- In Santorini, a caldera-facing room is worth the premium for two or three nights, not necessarily for a whole week.
- Look for properties with a terrace or plunge pool: a lot of a romantic trip happens at your own accommodation.
Practical tips
- 1
Travel in May, early June or late September for warm sea and soft light without the peak-season crush.
- 2
Two islands in ten days is plenty — ferry days eat more of a trip than people expect.
- 3
Book a private transfer for arrival day so the trip starts calmly rather than in an airport taxi queue.
